2022 Paraíba redesign
In 2022 and before, I liked flags and such, however I had never made one, so, I did the most logical thing, redesigning the flag of my state, Paraíba, which is absolutely terrible, with an oversimplified design, controversial symbolism and outrageous white-on-red text (it could at least be black). So as this is one of my first flags, excuse me for my bad use of symbolism, and also, looking back, I could have chosen a better bird not gonna lie...
Anyway, below me is the official flag of Paraíba as of when I'm writing (I will update this if it ever changes on the history of mankind again), and to my left, my design.
Let me just warn you that the meaning of this flag is pretty cliché and bad, however here you go: The green stripes symbolize the Atlantic Rainforest on the Litoral (eastern part of the state), the blue, the Atlantic Ocean, the brown, for some reason, the Sertão (the majority of the state, center and west), which should be orange or light yellow, but it is brown don't ask me why. The bird in the middle is the Avoante, the eared dove, and I'm not sure why I chose it, as it is a TERRIBLE choice because it is literally present on the entire South American continent. Looking back, I would definitely have chosen Carcará, which is a lot more typical of the region. Anyway, that is it.
